Used to ensure the Advocate Redi-Code Plus Meter and Test Strips are working together properly, the Advocate High Control Solution is used to test the glucose meter without using a blood sample. The test is run just like running an actual glucose test, except you use a drop of control solution instead of blood. The range for acceptable control results is printed on each vial of test strips. Each bottle contains 4mL.
