MANUKAhd Honey Dressing, 4" x 5". Super absorbent gelling fiber dressing with ManukaMed medical grade Manuka honey. A hydrocolloid surface coating (Dri-Touch technology) on The pad combines with exudate to produce a non-adherent wound interface that facilitates the sustained release of Manuka honey. The dressing will maintain a balanced moist environment conducive to wound healing. Using Manuka Honey on wounds can result in the rapid reduction in malodor and the high sugar levels in the honey result in osmotic pressure which helps to promote autolytic debridement of necrotic tissue. Manukahd can be used for partial or full thickness wounds.
